Job Overview

Alghanim Industries is looking for a Senior Service Technician – Field Service to provide professional technical support for household appliances and electronic products. The position involves visiting customer locations, identifying technical faults, carrying out repairs, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring customers receive reliable and timely service.

The successful candidate should have practical field-service experience, strong troubleshooting abilities, good customer communication skills, and the flexibility to work independently in different service environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs for home appliances and electronic equipment.
• Identify technical faults and determine appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hardware, audio/video, and related software issues where applicable.
• Review service requirements and confirm the availability of necessary spare parts, tools, and equipment before customer visits.
• Carry out assigned field-service calls efficiently while maintaining professional customer service standards.
• Complete warranty-related documentation, service reports, repair records, and other required technical paperwork accurately.
• Record details of completed repairs, installations, replaced components, and follow-up service requirements.
• Maintain service tools, equipment, assigned vehicle, and spare-parts inventory in proper working condition.
• Follow established safety procedures when handling electrical, refrigeration, HVAC, and electronic equipment.
• Coordinate with relevant service teams when a technical issue requires additional support or specialized parts.
• Use smartphones, service applications, and computer systems to update job status and maintain service information.
• Manage daily field assignments responsibly and complete customer visits within scheduled timelines.
• Maintain a professional approach when communicating with customers and explain technical issues or repair requirements clearly.
• Support warranty and after-sales service activities while maintaining accurate customer and product records.
• Work independently in the field while following company procedures, technical standards, and safety requirements.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of practical field-service experience, preferably working with major household appliances.
• Technical background or certification in HVAC, refrigeration, electronics, appliance servicing, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of appliance diagnostics, electronic components, refrigeration systems, and technical troubleshooting.
• Ability to use appropriate diagnostic equipment and service tools to identify faults and complete repairs effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic and refrigeration equipment and the ability to follow technical manuals or service instructions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, smartphones, mobile applications, and service management software.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for field-service duties.
• Ability to travel to customer locations and perform hands-on technical work in different environments.
• Physically capable of carrying out field-service activities, including equipment inspection, repair, installation, and movement of service materials when required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours according to customer requirements and service schedules.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and explain technical information in a clear manner.
• Good organizational skills for managing service calls, spare parts, documentation, and daily assignments.
• Ability to work independently while also coordinating effectively with supervisors and technical support teams.
• Strong attention to detail when diagnosing faults, completing repairs, recording service information, and processing warranty documentation.
• A customer-focused approach with an emphasis on quality repairs, timely service, and professional after-sales support.
