Job Overview

BlackStone eIT is seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer – Digital Services and Integrations to support quality assurance across web platforms, mobile applications, enterprise systems, and integrated digital services in Dubai, UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing effective testing strategies, developing automated regression frameworks, and validating end-to-end functionality across interconnected applications. The role focuses on ensuring software reliability, identifying technical risks, maintaining testing evidence, and providing informed recommendations before production releases.

Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in test automation, API and integration testing, enterprise application validation, and modern CI/CD practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop risk-based testing strategies, test plans, scenarios, and requirements traceability for application enhancements and software releases.
• Perform end-to-end testing across web portals, mobile applications, CRM systems, approval workflows, payment services, and external integrations.
• Design, implement, and maintain reusable automated regression suites for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Validate API contracts, authentication mechanisms, data mapping, error handling, retry processes, and duplicate-transaction prevention.
• Test Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including workflows, permissions, system changes, and cross-platform data consistency.
• Verify Arabic and English content, right-to-left (RTL) layouts, responsive interfaces, accessibility, and browser/device compatibility.
• Conduct authorized performance, load, and application security checks while coordinating specialist security assessments when required.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, support issue prioritization, verify fixes, and monitor recurring quality concerns.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders and communicate outstanding risks before deployment.
• Prepare clear testing reports, maintain supporting evidence, and provide release-readiness recommendations to the responsible decision-maker.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines while maintaining reliable test data and consistent testing procedures.
• Collaborate with development, integration, and business teams to improve overall software quality and delivery reliability.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 5 years in software quality assurance and at least 3 years developing automated tests for enterprise or government applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with web automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Practical knowledge of mobile test automation using Appium or equivalent frameworks for Android and iOS applications.
• Proven ability to test REST APIs, authentication processes, and service integrations using Postman, Newman, or comparable tools.
• Proficiency in at least one automation programming language, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience conducting performance and load testing using k6 or JMeter, including workload modelling and analysis of test results.
• Ability to write SQL queries, validate SQL Server data, and verify Dataverse records and transactions across integrated systems.
• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, along with Git-based version control.
• Strong understanding of structured test management, defect tracking, regression testing, and software quality assurance processes.
• Working knowledge of OWASP application security risks and fundamental accessibility testing principles Jobs in Dubai.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to identifying software quality risks.
• ISTQB certification is preferred but not mandatory.
