An established organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Cyber Security to lead its cybersecurity function, strengthen organizational resilience, and safeguard critical IT infrastructure, sensitive information, and digital assets.

The successful candidate will oversee cybersecurity strategy, risk management, security operations, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with senior management, technology teams, and external stakeholders to maintain a secure and resilient business environment.

This position requires a combination of strategic leadership, technical expertise, and strong decision-making capabilities to address evolving cybersecurity threats.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Manager – Cyber Security

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and long-term security roadmap.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, security monitoring, incident management, and recovery planning.
• Oversee cyber risk assessments, vulnerability management activities, and security improvement initiatives to minimize organizational exposure.
• Establish and maintain information security policies, governance procedures, and internal controls aligned with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Ensure cybersecurity considerations are integrated into IT infrastructure, cloud environments, digital transformation projects, and third-party services.
• Coordinate incident response activities, investigate security concerns, and support effective business recovery procedures.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and recommend appropriate preventive measures to protect business-critical systems.
• Prepare cybersecurity performance reports, risk assessments, and incident updates for executive management.
• Collaborate with business leaders, IT departments, and external security partners to strengthen organizational security practices.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the cybersecurity team while promoting accountability, professional development, and continuous improvement.
• Support employee security awareness initiatives to encourage responsible handling of organizational information and digital resources jobs in Saudi.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline.
• Substantial professional experience in cybersecurity, including management or leadership responsibilities within a complex organizational environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity governance, information security operations, risk management, incident response, and vulnerability assessment.
• Practical knowledge of recognized information security frameworks, particularly ISO 27001 and NIST.
• Experience managing security requirements across enterprise technology systems, cloud infrastructure, and third-party environments.
• Ability to evaluate complex technical risks and translate cybersecurity concerns into clear, actionable business recommendations.
• Strong knowledge of security policies, regulatory compliance requirements, and organizational risk mitigation practices.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and strategic planning capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage cybersecurity professionals, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials are preferred gulf jobs.
