Senior – IT Audit | Deloitte | Kuwait Full Time Permanent NEW

Position Overview

Deloitte is seeking an experienced Senior IT Audit to join its Audit & Assurance team in Kuwait. The successful candidate will support technology audit engagements, assess IT risks and controls, and help deliver reliable audit services to clients across the financial services and telecommunications sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support audit planning by reviewing business processes and identifying relevant IT audit requirements.
• Prepare audit plans, budgets and project timelines.
• Conduct IT risk assessments and evaluate general IT controls, application controls and automated processes.
• Test system interfaces, databases, operating systems and system-generated reports.
• Identify control weaknesses, assess risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Communicate audit findings and engagement updates to clients and senior management.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining service quality and meeting deadlines.
• Build effective client relationships and follow Deloitte policies and professional standards.
• Demonstrate accountability, professional integrity and commitment to continuous learning.
• Develop effective communication and relationship-management skills.
• Support team objectives and contribute to business priorities.
• Represent the firm’s values and professional standards .

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Computing or Management Information Systems.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in IT external audit, internal audit or professional services.
• Experience in financial services or telecommunications is required.
• CISA or another relevant professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of IT auditing, application controls, general IT controls and audit procedures.
• Ability to assess business processes, identify control gaps and evaluate mitigating controls.
• Experience managing audit fieldwork, deliverables and project deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with an understanding of data analysis.
• Strong communication, research and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic-English bilingual candidates are preferred.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when client or business requirements demand.
