Associate Manager – Finance Full Time Permanent

About the Role

Majid Al Futtaim Retail is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Manager – Finance to support financial governance across store and warehouse operations. The role focuses on monitoring key operational and financial processes, strengthening inventory controls, and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance across retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor waste, shrinkage, and stock movements across stores and warehouses to support effective inventory management.
• Coordinate and facilitate stock audits, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure the accuracy of item costs, profit margins, and inventory-related financial transactions.
• Monitor pending Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and invoicing processes, coordinating with relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
• Support initiatives designed to reduce stock losses and strengthen inventory control procedures.
• Manage fixed asset processes, including asset capitalization, tracking, and write-offs.
• Oversee cash handling activities, tender reconciliations, petty cash utilization, and cash spot checks.
• Monitor operating expenses and assist in maintaining budgetary control across stores and warehouses.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of professional experience in Finance, Audit, Financial Controlling, or Store Operations Finance.
• Experience within the Retail, FMCG, Hypermarket, Supermarket, or Consumer Goods industries.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, stock reconciliation, shrinkage control, and operational finance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
