Hilton Kuwait Resort is seeking an experienced and service-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of a hotel dining outlet in Kuwait.

The role involves supporting restaurant operations, guest service, team supervision, quality standards, cost control, and food and beverage revenue activities.

The chosen applicant will collaborate closely with the restaurant manager to uphold high service standards, encourage team performance, address customer concerns, and assist in ensuring seamless and effective restaurant operations. The role may also involve assisting with staff training, recruitment efforts, promotions, inventory management, and compliance with applicable health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations

• Help run the designated restaurant outlet on a daily basis.
• Maintain consistent food quality, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
  
• Support inventory management and cost-control activities.
  
• Assist with operational and profitability objectives.
  
• Ensure restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards are followed.
  
• Monitor daily activities to help maintain efficient service delivery.
  

Guest Experience

• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to oversee guest service and maintain product quality.
  

• Respond professionally to guest feedback and assist with resolving service concerns.
  

• Look for opportunities to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
  

• Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all guests.
  

Team Supervision & Development

• Supervise and support restaurant team members during daily operations.
  

• Coach and guide employees to help them consistently meet established service standards.
  

• Assist with employee performance and development activities.
  

• Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members when necessary.
  

• Encourage effective teamwork and professional communication within the restaurant.
  

Sales & Revenue Support

• Assist with restaurant marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  
• Encourage appropriate upselling techniques to support food and beverage revenue.
  
• Monitor promotional activities and support initiatives designed to increase sales.
  
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with revenue-related activities.
  

Compliance & Standards

• Ensure restaurant operations follow applicable health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements.
  
• Support workplace practices that promote guest and employee safety.
  
• Help ensure team members understand and follow established operational procedures.
  
• Maintain professional standards and accountability across restaurant activities.
  

  Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, hospitality, or food and beverage operations.
  • Demonstrate strong coaching and team-management skills while supporting employees during daily restaurant operations.
  • Strong understanding of guest service and established restaurant operating standards.
  • Ability to support inventory management, cost-control activities, and revenue-related operations.
  • Good leadership and communication skills for working effectively with restaurant team members and management.
  • Effectively handle multiple operational priorities within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Strong customer-service skills and a professional approach to interacting with guests.
  • Ability to handle guest concerns appropriately and contribute to effective problem-solving.
