Job Overview
HireStar Talent Consulting is recruiting an experienced HR Officer on behalf of a client in the hypermarket and retail sector in Al Ain.
The successful candidate will manage recruitment, employee administration, and daily HR operations in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires practical retail HR experience, strong coordination skills, and a sound understanding of UAE Labour Law.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with department heads to identify staffing needs and fulfil manpower requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records, employment documentation, and joining formalities.
- Handle attendance tracking, leave administration, and routine HR activities.
- Ensure HR processes comply with company policies and UAE Labour Law.
- Support high-volume recruitment and workforce coordination across retail operations.
- Communicate effectively with employees and management while managing multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within a hypermarket or retail organization.
- Proven experience in recruitment, employee administration, and HR operations.
- Good knowledge of UAE Labour Law and employment procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage staffing requirements in a busy retail environment.
- Familiarity with HR systems and MS Excel is beneficial.
- Must be currently available in the UAE and willing to work on-site in Al Ain.
