Enterprise Applications Analyst – SAP SD Full Time Permanent

Job Overview

Sephora is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Analyst in Dubai, UAE, to support the delivery, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise technology solutions across its Middle East operations.

This position combines hands-on SAP Sales and Distribution (SAP SD) expertise with enterprise project and programme management. The successful candidate will oversee SAP-related initiatives, evaluate business requirements, resolve application challenges, and ensure smooth integration between retail, supply chain, logistics, and financial systems.

The role requires close collaboration with regional stakeholders, global technology teams, SAP specialists, and external implementation partners to deliver effective solutions that support Sephora’s business and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise application projects from initial requirements gathering and solution evaluation through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, resource plans, risk assessments, dependencies, and governance procedures.
• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Go/No-Go decisions, hypercare, and post-implementation activities.
• Apply established delivery methodologies, including Agile, PMP/PRINCE2, and SAP Activate, where appropriate Jobs in Dubai.
• Oversee change management and release activities to maintain project quality and delivery timelines.

• Provide functional SAP SD expertise across the complete Order-to-Cash (OTC) process, including sales orders, pricing, deliveries, billing, returns, and credit transactions.
• Support supply chain and logistics operations through SAP configuration, troubleshooting, stock verification, delivery document processing (VL01N), and Post Goods Issue (PGI).
• Conduct fit-gap assessments and evaluate business requirements to identify suitable SAP solutions.
• Assess dependencies between SAP SD, inventory, logistics, Finance, and other connected enterprise applications.
• Review system integrations involving IDocs, APIs, and messaging interfaces to identify potential operational impacts.
• Encourage the effective use of standard SAP functionality while minimizing unnecessary system customization.

• Evaluate proposed technical solutions based on functionality, integration requirements, implementation feasibility, risks, operational impact, and total ownership costs.
• Coordinate root-cause investigation with internal support teams and outside vendors while looking into complicated enterprise application incidents. 
• Ensure application enhancements meet testing, documentation, knowledge transfer, and service transition requirements.
• Coordinate post-go-live support and corrective actions to maintain application stability.
• Collaborate with Retail Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, regional management, global SAP teams, and technology partners.

• Communicate technical findings and integration requirements clearly to support informed business decisions.
• Monitor implementation partners and vendors against agreed deliverables, quality standards, project milestones, and service commitments.
• Identify and escalate delivery challenges or operational risks when necessary.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience managing enterprise-level technology projects and programmes.
• Demonstrated project delivery experience within large retail organizations, preferably operating across multiple countries or matrix management structures.
• Strong practical knowledge of SAP SD in retail environments, particularly Order-to-Cash, sales processing, pricing, deliveries, billing, returns, and supply chain operations.
• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects, including an understanding of the differences between SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
• Ability to evaluate integration requirements involving SAP SD, inventory management, logistics, Finance, and connected business applications.
• expertise in system testing, deployment, hypercare, fit-gap analysis, impact assessments, business requirement assessments, and application support. 
• PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent project management certification is required.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices, SAP Activate, and service transition processes is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to SAP S/4HANA migration projects is highly desirable.
• It is preferred to have experience in Middle Eastern retail marketplaces, specifically with regard to regional pricing, commercial operations, taxation, and multi-market company requirements. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver projects within established timelines.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Arabic and/or French language proficiency is an additional advantage gulf jobs.
