Job Overview

An opportunity is available for a qualified and detail-oriented Architectural Engineer in Doha, Qatar, with 2–4 years of relevant experience in architectural and interior design.

The selected candidate will support architectural design activities, contribute to interior design projects, prepare technical drawings, and assist with design coordination to ensure project requirements are met.

Applicants should have good knowledge of architectural design software and hold Trainee Engineer/license registration with the Qatar Committee for Engineers’ Acceptance .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural and interior design concepts based on project requirements.
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, layouts, plans, and related design documentation.
• Support the development of functional and visually appropriate interior spaces.
• Use architectural software to prepare, modify, and maintain accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with project team members to ensure architectural and interior design requirements are properly understood.
• Review design details and identify potential technical or layout-related issues.
• Assist in ensuring drawings and design activities follow applicable project specifications and relevant standards.
• Maintain organized project documentation and update drawings when design modifications are required .
• Support design coordination and contribute to the timely completion of assigned project activities.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in architectural engineering, architectural design, or interior design.
• Practical experience working on architectural and interior design projects.
• Trainee Engineer/license registration with the Qatar Committee for Engineers’ Acceptance.
• Good working knowledge of architectural design software and its application in preparing technical drawings and layouts.
• Ability to understand architectural plans, design specifications, and project requirements.
• Knowledge of architectural planning, interior space arrangements, and design coordination.
• Ability to prepare and modify drawings accurately while maintaining consistency with approved project requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing technical drawings, dimensions, and design documentation.
• Good organizational and time-management abilities to support multiple design assignments and meet project deadlines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with architects, designers, engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ability to identify basic design-related issues and contribute practical solutions during project development.
• A professional approach to assigned responsibilities, with a commitment to accuracy, continuous improvement, and quality work.
