Job Overview

Al-Futtaim Private Company LLC is hiring a UAEN Sales Team Leader for its IKEA retail operations in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This position is responsible for supporting sales growth, managing product range activities, improving customer experience, and leading the development of the Sales team.

The role combines commercial planning, retail operations, product availability, pricing, team leadership, market awareness, and sustainability. The successful candidate will work closely with store teams, logistics, retail management, suppliers, and other business stakeholders to ensure that the assigned product range meets customer expectations and commercial objectives IKEA Jebel Ali Jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of established IKEA sales and product range practices within the assigned business area.
• Manage product selection and range activities for showroom and market hall sections according to customer needs and business priorities.
• Coordinate with shopkeepers and relevant stakeholders regarding suppliers, purchasing decisions, and commercial arrangements.
• Monitor customer preferences, competitor activity, market conditions, and retail trends to identify opportunities for improving the product range.
• Drive sales performance and support the achievement of agreed revenue and profitability objectives.
• Maintain accurate product and range information within the applicable sales management systems.
• Work with Logistics teams to improve demand forecasting, product availability, and the movement of goods.

• Participate in the preparation and execution of sales and range plans in line with store and country business priorities.
• Maintain regular communication with shopkeepers and provide guidance on sales and range-related matters.
• Coordinate with Logistics to ensure products required for marketing and promotional activities are available when needed.
• Provide stores with appropriate guidance for complex product groups and product series.
• Facilitate communication between stores, retail management, and the IKEA distributor regarding product range matters.
• Keep up to date with customer behavior, market developments, competitor activity, and emerging retail trends.
• Support the achievement of sales budgets and commercial targets for the assigned product range.
• Monitor key-selling products and help ensure they remain available, properly presented, and supported by suitable alternatives when required.
• Assist shopkeepers in reviewing competitor activity and developing appropriate responses based on local market information.
• Train Sales co-workers on relevant IKEA concepts, responsibilities, processes, and customer-service practices.
• Coach and encourage team members to improve their performance, product knowledge, confidence, and career development.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, collaborative, and diverse workplace environment.
• Support the implementation of sustainability priorities and ensure relevant initiatives are adapted to the local market.
• Assist with the effective allocation of resources and budgets for sustainability activities.

Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

• High School qualification or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of relevant retail experience, preferably in a comparable role or IKEA environment.
• Genuine interest in home furnishing, retail, sales, and customer service.
• Strong understanding of customer needs and the ability to build effective customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop team members.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to evaluate information and make practical business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and remain effective in a demanding retail environment.
• Good commercial understanding, including awareness of customer behaviour, market developments, and social trends.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-management abilities.
• Good command of English; Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with sales, logistics, store operations, management, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to understand sales results, product availability, customer requirements, pricing, and commercial priorities.
• Strong interest in retail operations, product presentation, home furnishings, and customer experience in Sales Manager.
• Willingness to contribute to sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Professional approach to teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and customer service.
