Job Overview

Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia is looking for a Collections Officer to support its accounts receivable and customer collection activities in Jeddah. The position is responsible for following up on outstanding customer balances, maintaining accurate account information, supporting dispute resolution and ensuring collection activities are completed in line with company procedures.

The successful candidate will manage an assigned customer portfolio and work toward established monthly collection targets Collections Jobs Saudi Arabia. Key Responsibilities

Customer Collection & Account Follow-Up

• To manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and monitor outstanding balances.
• Ability to contact customers regarding overdue payments through telephone calls, emails and visits.
• Organize collection activities according to customer priorities and assigned monthly targets.
• Able to maintain regular follow-up with customers to encourage timely settlement of outstanding amounts.
• To send appropriate collection and dunning communications in accordance with company credit procedures.
• Monitor customer payment commitments and follow up on pending actions.
• To maintain professional communication and appropriate customer relationships throughout the collection process.

Accounts Receivable Management

• Keep customer account information accurate and updated in the company’s Accounts Receivable (AR) system.
• Record collection actions, customer communication and follow-up activities for assigned accounts.
• Review customer balances and reconcile accounts when required.
• Identify discrepancies or account issues that may affect payment collection.
• Submit customer invoices when required and ensure relevant supporting documentation is provided.
• Monitor assigned portfolio information, including collection risks and reversals.
• Maintain accurate records to support effective accounts receivable management.

Customer Disputes & Internal Coordination

• Review customer concerns and understand the reasons behind disputed or unpaid amounts.
• Coordinate with relevant internal departments to investigate and resolve customer disputes.
• Follow up on outstanding internal actions that may delay payment collection.
• Share relevant account information with internal stakeholders to support timely resolution.
• Escalate unresolved account issues through the appropriate internal channels.
• Ensure customer-related collection activities are handled according to established policies and procedures.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Prepare collection reports and portfolio updates using Microsoft Excel.
• Provide accurate management information regarding collection activities and account performance.
• Track progress against assigned monthly collection targets.
• Maintain updated records of customer follow-ups and outstanding actions.
• Organize collection activities to improve efficiency and support continuous improvement.
• Provide information for periodic management reviews and additional reporting requirements when requested.

Policies, Procedures & Administration

• Follow departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure collection activities are performed consistently and within established controls.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to customer accounts and collection activities.
• Support management with information and insights relating to the assigned work area.
• Handle customer and financial information with appropriate care and confidentiality.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting or an equivalent field.
• 3–5 years of relevant professional experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Experience managing a customer portfolio of at least 200 accounts.
• Experience within a construction or engineering organization is preferred.
• Good written and spoken English and Arabic are essential.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and the ability to prepare collection-related reports.
• Strong customer communication and follow-up abilities.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.
• Ability to analyze account information, identify discrepancies and coordinate issue resolution.
• Ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
