ERP – Oracle Technical Engineer Full Time Permanent

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ERP – Oracle Technical Engineer / Senior PL/SQL Developer to join a banking technology project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle databases, PL/SQL development, data integration, and banking data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain advanced SQL and PL/SQL solutions, including procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Design and manage ODS (Operational Data Store) data models and data flows for banking applications.
• Work with data related to core banking, cards, payments, and other financial systems.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database jobs to improve system performance.
• Integrate data from multiple banking source systems.
• Participate throughout the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for database designs, processes, and solutions.
• Follow appropriate data security, access-control, and banking compliance practices.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 7+ years of professional experience in PL/SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Database or other enterprise-level RDBMS platforms.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services projects.
• Practical understanding of ODS and data warehousing concepts.
• Previous experience working on Saudi Arabia-based projects is required.
• Knowledge of SAMA regulations and relevant banking compliance requirements.
• Understanding of data privacy, audit, reporting, security, and access-control requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD and automated database deployments.
• Experience working in Agile development environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
• Familiarity with ETL tools and data integration technologies.
